Dear class,
On both Monday and Wednesday of the week of Dec 5, you will partake of an in-class peer-review for your team’s website.
Prior to each team’s presentation of their website, students need to get a copy of the website grading rubric from the instructor (the number of copies depends on the number of teams presenting that day). Each student will use the rubric to write responses for each of the grading criteria on the rubric -- not to assign a grade. Each student may use the rubric to also write feedback beyond those listed in the rubric.
Each team will present their website at the class podium (via a jump-drive, if the site is not published online) and report on the site’s progress to the rest of the class for approximately 10 min. Then, each team will solicit feedback from the rest of the class (i.e., a Q/A session) for approximately 5 min.
The instructor will collect grading rubrics from all students after each team’s presentation and submit them to the leader of the team that just presented.
Here is the order of team presentations:
Monday, Dec 5
Section J | Section G | Section P |
Team Nutrition | SAM | Nutritions |
J&J Experience | Nutrition Technicians | Rise Above |
Nacho Amoeba | MSG | The Empire |
Wednesday, Dec 7
Section J | Section G | Section P |
GGRRAT | Triple S 'n D | Radical Turnips |
All The Single Ladies | MacDaddy | |
Leftovers |
Though I will not be in class on Monday, Dec 5, I have several colleagues substituting for me that day. Because peer-reviews require timely attendance, attendance will be taken at the beginning of class.
REMEMBER TO BRING A BACKUP OF YOUR WEBSITE ON A JUMP-DRIVE
